and you are aged 16 or over. No previous experience is necessary - you learn as you go along - so why not have a go at something worthwhile, creating a lot of pleasure for yourself and others whilst making new friends. Anyone with experience is, of course, more than welcome. Please do not let the name "OPERA-tic" put you off. We are not into Grand Opera - just look at our previous productions to see the sort of productions we do put on. There are many new shows waiting to be done, but we need new members in order to make this possible, so why not come along and try us out? - and bring a friend! If you feel you would like to be involved, but do not want to appear on stage or in a concert, there are countless other tasks connected with the day-to-day running of the Society and the preparation of shows: backstage, sewing costumes, making properties etc.
