About Us
Despite the name, Chesterfield Operatic Society actually specialises in Musical Theatre and not Operas. The Society has a Playing Company and a Concert Group although members are not necessarily involved with both at any one time. Our usual rehearsal nights are Monday and Wednesday, when we meet at the Society's own premises at 5A Abercrombie Street, Chesterfield.

The Shows
The Concerts
We produce an annual performance at the Pomegranate Theatre, Chesterfield; usually in the spring. You can see a list of our previous performances on our Shows page.
The Society also does some small venue musical concerts in the Chesterfield area and, most years, a Songs from the Shows concert at the Pomegranate Theatre in November. You can find out more on our Concerts page.
